New Show!!!! Thanks to our friends in An Invitation to Love and Open Choir Fire, (AKA Missippi Painful) we will be making our reappearance on the live stage in March at Georgetown's own Jules Maes. We will also be playing as a trio. Louis has moved on to green pastures and Seth Howard is now playing bass. Jeffrey has been working on new songs and revamping old favorites to work in the new power trio configuration. It is starting to come together. Here are the show details.

We are working hard on new material lately. If all goes as planned we will have some rough mixes posted in the nex few months. Meanwhile we are super appreciative of anyone who is able to scrape some money together for the show. We know these are hard times and we understand all budgetary contraints. We will work hard on finding some free events to play in the near future.
Who the hell are we?
Rosyvelt began as a duo in Olympia
Washington where Sam Jansons and Jeff Henry flushed out some rudimentary
songs in a 4th Avenue basement. Their sound was typified by a loud bombastic
acoustic guitar and solid drum beats accompanied by Jeffrey's power
tenor vocals. They have since moved to Seattle, switched to baritone
guitar and added Seth Howard (Fey
Ray, The Stone Throwers) on bass guitar and keys. Listen here
if you want to know what we sound like.
if you must have comparisons..
I asked one of Rosyvelt's oldest fans for some comparisons and this
is what she said:
"...Here are a few comparisons that I would say for sure (and
you can pretty much add the phrase "with better vocals" to
everything): Shannon Wright, the softer moments of
New Order, Sebadoh (for the bombast), Puerto
Muerto, Okkervil River.
With Love, Jeffrey
